well time for my weekly blog. two major events have happend, (1 larger than the other) first just purchased a Kato 10 car morning daylight. which will stand in for the shasta daylight cars, till intermountain produces all of the shasta daylights cars. and of course i will be using the tail observation car from the kato morning daylight set, just as SP did in real life for the shasta daylight. yep 1st class passengers got old small windowed equipment, where as the the new shasta daylight coach equipment had the larger expanded windows to let in all the beautifull shasta sceanery in.
the other news, I was pre-qualified for a decent home loan, so..... im looking for a nice home with a full basement in the portland OR. area guess whats going down there? ;)
first home purchase, im excited, but also scared, but should be good in the long run. I never thought that i would ever be able to get a home, but thanks to a shakey market, and a pretty good railroad job, my dream is coming true.
I'll let you all know what i come up with, but hopefully soon there will be news on a house purchase and plans started for SP's cascade line.
