So how should one commemorate the 'wood' anniversary? Laser kit?

Five great years! The odd bump here and there but still a great five years! Congratulations! And, oh yes, thanks for all the hard work!

5th is the wood anniversary, eh? Well, we could do like Nova Scotia does for Boston and send Todd a nice tree or something :-P Seriously though, congratulations! As one of the guys thats been here since near the beginning, it doesn't feel like it's been that long! AR

Congratulations indeed to Bryan and Todd who have had the vision and initiative to keep the site operating for such a long time - and still keep us interested in what is IMHO, THE best N-scale site anywhere. Gentlemen, I thank you, and lift a metaphorical glass (or two) in your honour.

wow five years? thats amazing! this site by far beats any other site.....including nscale.o_r_g (had to break it up just in case it becomes a link ;) ) ........yes it exist...........I am proud to be a member here and a N modeler! well Happy Anniversary Todd i too am a Admin of like two other sites but i know there is now way in heck that i could get mine to last this long!! -Garrett A.

You may have jumper the gun a bit here. I believe this post is for the 2007 anniversary and not the 2008. Which is an upcoming event. Check the main page it's 31 days away. See ya Ron

Actually, that first post is rather interesting. It was made on November 16, 2007 but specified an event for November 26, 2008, over a year away! All subsequent posts, up to MisterMahoney's, were also made in November 2007! Interesting!

So was November 26 2007 the 5th or is this November 26 the 5th. Who's gona claim the 5th? [:-) Charles

Since 'Admin' has been a member for 5Yrs 17Wks, I would guess the sites been open for 5Yrs this coming Nov ('08).

I plead stupid.

Thank You and congratulations on 5 years! I'm sure glad you guys have been here, you have helped me get back into the best hobby around. Anytime I've needed help weather asking or just searching it out, I have either found it on this forum or have been directed to it! Hope we're here another 5 years! (I'll celebrate by getting a set of Overtons...they're WOOD!)lol

In that case maybe I can get some Overland Passenger Cars and bash up a couple of the longer Cumberland & Pennsylvania coaches I need following Absnut's plans (since they are wood too...) Happy anniversary today or tomorrow however that works out... And thanks for running the site. Charles
